The service

Lore is a subscription web app that analyses screenshots and information you provide about your dating life and generates AI coaching: a dating analysis, chat guidance, suggested replies, pattern observations and weekly recaps. Lore is coaching support only. It is not therapy, medical, legal or crisis care, and it does not diagnose anyone.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, and if you are using Lore on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Lore for your own personal use within your plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits or usage caps.

Acceptable use

You must not use Lore to:

— break the law, or facilitate fraud, spam, harassment, stalking or abuse;

— infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;

— interfere with the security of the service, including malware, probing, scanning or scraping;

— generate illegal content, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, targeted harassment, deepfakes or impersonation, self-harm encouragement, or malware;

— attempt to jailbreak, bypass or manipulate our safety filters and model instructions.

Your content and AI outputs

You keep ownership of the screenshots, messages and notes you upload ("inputs"). You grant us a limited licence to host and process your inputs solely to operate and provide the service to you. You are responsible for your prompts and inputs, for having the rights and any necessary permissions to upload conversations involving other people, for how you use the outputs, and for verifying outputs before acting on them.

As between you and us, you own the outputs generated for you, subject to these terms. Outputs are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are general coaching suggestions, not professional advice, and should not be relied on without your own judgement. Never rely on Lore in an emergency — contact local emergency services.

We may moderate content: we can filter, refuse, remove or restrict inputs and outputs, and suspend accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. If you believe content on Lore infringes your rights, contact us through the support link in the app with details and we will review and remove infringing content where appropriate. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Lore service, including its software, models, prompts, documentation, design and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.

Service availability

We work to keep Lore available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may interrupt the service.

Payment and subscriptions

Lore is sold as a monthly subscription at the price shown on our pricing page, which renews automatically until cancelled. Payment, billing, currency, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our refund policy for money-back terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using Lore and delete your data at any time from your profile. On termination, your access ends and your content is deleted or anonymised, other than records we must keep by law.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lore is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, relationships or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your inputs, your unlawful use of Lore, or your breach of these terms.

General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lore is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
